Arrival / Departure

Check-in is available from 3:00 PM.

Our self-service kiosk is available 24/7, allowing you to book, check in, and check out at any time. If you have booked a cabin and arrive outside reception opening hours, you will find an envelope with your name in the mailbox marked Check-in outside the reception. There is no need to notify us in advance.

Please note: If your accommodation has not been paid for before arrival, check-in must be completed before the reception closes.

Check-out is by 12:00 PM for all accommodation types. Exceptions are only made during the low season and by prior arrangement with reception. Late check-out will result in an additional night’s charge.

We recommend our Express Check-out service. You will receive an envelope at reception in which you place your service cards, cleaning checklist (if applicable), and keys before dropping it into the mailbox marked Check-out. This allows you to avoid waiting in line.

Beach and Swimming

The sea is approximately 500 metres away (as the crow flies), accessible via a cabin area and a grazing field. There is also a slightly longer cycle path.

Kids’ Club

Our Kids’ Club takes care of children during organised activities at the campsite. Activities include water fights, treasure hunts, mini golf tournaments, crafts, bouncy castles, and much more.

Barrier Gate

Closed between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM.

You can always exit the campsite, but if you plan to return during these hours, please bring your service card, which functions as your access key.

Fire Extinguishers

Fire extinguishers are located throughout the campsite; please refer to the map.

We encourage all guests to have a fire extinguisher, fire blanket, and smoke detector in their caravan or motorhome.

Bicycles

Bicycles can be rented during reception opening hours.

Please show consideration when cycling around the campsite. The cycle paths into Varberg town centre are excellent.

Fishing

Sea fishing is free of charge; for other waters, a fishing permit may be required.

The pier is said to be a great fishing spot! Crab fishing is a must when visiting Varberg. A useful tip is to use mussels as bait.

Age Requirement

Läjet Camping & Resort is a family campsite and therefore has a recommended minimum age of 25 years.

Fire and Electrical Safety Regulations

To prevent the rapid spread of fire, a minimum safety distance of 4 metres must be maintained between camping units.

Access roads and passages must never be blocked, as they are required for emergency vehicles.

For accessibility reasons, vehicles may only be parked on your pitch or in designated parking areas.

We recommend positioning the tow hitch of your caravan facing outward.

The campsite is responsible for ensuring that electrical hook-up posts function correctly. The guest is responsible for all equipment between the electrical post and their caravan or motorhome.

To use our electrical outlets, all equipment must be in safe working order, approved, CE marked, and connected using undamaged cables. This is the guest’s responsibility.

Please note that our electrical cabinets are equipped with 16A residual current circuit breakers, and therefore the cable between the electrical post and your camping unit must have a minimum conductor area of 2.5 mm².

In case of fire:

Rescue – Alert – Extinguish

Firefighting equipment locations are marked on the campsite map.
